Heat. Light. Rhythm.
My body moves in a seizure of energy and movement. Eyes closed, senses consumed, I lose myself in the chaos. Nothing else exists beyond this moment, this place. Reality lost to the pounding music. My past is drowned in the frantic beat. Emotion found only here under the pulsing lights of a dance club.
The driving rhythm of my body is brought to an abrupt end as a hand tightly grips my arm. I open my eyes and he is there.
